Mark is a British saxophonist, composer, and bandleader based in Copenhagen. His music blends jazz tradition with cinematic storytelling, virtuosic improvisation, and a deep emotional core. Drawing inspiration from life across the UK, Scandinavia, and Europe, Mark creates striking, original compositions performed by a tight-knit international ensemble. Whether on stage or in the studio, his sound is bold, groovy, and dramatic — rooted in jazz, but unafraid to explore beyond.
I’m thrilled to announce the upcoming release of my debut EP, arriving in 2025. This project is a deeply personal journey, blending my love for modern jazz with cinematic storytelling, groove-driven improvisation, and the energy of live performance.
Featuring some of the finest musicians I’ve had the pleasure of playing with across Europe, the EP is a reflection of my experiences, travels, and the people who have shaped my sound. Each track tells a story, drawing from jazz traditions while pushing into fresh, contemporary territory.
The EP will be available on all streaming platforms and will be supported by a Scandinavian and UK tour, with concerts across Denmark, Sweden, and the UK in 2026
